The Project Coordinator – AgRobotics Program plays a key role in supporting the AgRobotics Working Group (AgRoboticsWG) and Innovation Farms Ontario. You will act as the primary liaison for members and partners while coordinating meetings, events, communications, and special projects that strengthen Ontario’s agri-technology ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
AgRobotics Working Group Coordination
• Maintain and grow accurate membership rosters for AgRoboticsWG and Innovation Farms Ontario • Plan and lead weekly meetings, including agenda development, scheduling, attendance tracking, minute-taking, and follow-up communication • Lead the annual speaker program, including theme development, presenter booking, and topic alignment • Develop and implement engagement strategies to increase awareness and participation • Manage sub-committee lists, surveys, registration details, and post-event follow-up • Ensure website content and meeting materials are current and uploaded in a timely manner • Serve as the primary point of contact for members, partners, and stakeholders
Event Management
• Plan and execute in-person and virtual events including demo days, meetings, and special initiatives • Coordinate event logistics including speakers, judges, schedules, materials, and on-site execution • Secure sponsorships and partnership support • Lead coordination of the Student AgRobotics Competition, including outreach, graphic assets, entry tracking, judge coordination, and event-day management • Evaluate event effectiveness and prepare post-event reports with recommendations for improvement
Marketing & Communications
• Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to increase program awareness • Create and schedule social media content, including regular LinkedIn posts highlighting speakers, initiatives,
and industry news • Gather stories, visuals, data, and metrics to support annual reporting and program evaluation • Attend sub-committee meetings and provide accurate minutes • Support special projects and additional initiatives as assigned
What You Bring
You are organized, proactive, and passionate about innovation in agriculture. You are comfortable coordinating multiple initiatives, engaging stakeholders, and taking ownership of projects from planning through execution.
Ideally, you have:
• Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, project coordination, or event management • Experience in agriculture or agri-technology (an asset) • Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels • Experience with Canva and Squarespace (an asset) • Strong organizational and project management skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • A collaborative, outgoing, and positive attitude • Ability to work independently and demonstrate proactive leadership

· Competitive Salary: $55,000 annually
· Contract Type: 2-year term. A portion of this role’s wage is funded through the AgRobotics Working Group and the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership, as well as a portion through Innovation Farms Ontario, funded by FCC AgExpert.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), typically Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required, including occasional evenings and weekends to support events and industry initiatives.
A valid driver’s license is required.
