Reports to: Agri-Business Manager
Department: Agri-Business
Date of last revision: March 2026
Western Fair District is seeking a passionate and hard-working student to join us as our 2026 Ag Marketing Intern. This 40 hour per week internship from May to August is designed to provide hands-on experience in agriculture, marketing, and community engagement. You will learn how agriculture impacts everyday life, build valuable professional skills, and contribute to programs that educate and inspire our community.
The Western Fair District Agriculture Marketing Internship Program is funded by the Western Fair Association, a not-for-profit Agricultural Society. As the intern, you will support a variety of initiatives including the AgRobotics Working Group, Innovation Farms Ontario, The Grove, The Market, the Annual Western Fair, and other year-round agricultural programming.
The successful candidate will be selected based on their interest in agriculture, marketing, or a related field of study. Direct agriculture experience is not required; however, since the role focuses on promoting agricultural programs, a genuine interest in agriculture and agri-innovation is essential.
