A fun and interactive experience to find out if glassware truly does make a difference in the way we enjoy wine. Wine Writer Michael Pinkus (OntarioWineReview.com) teams up with Schott Zwiesel stemware for an interactive seminar you won’t soon forget because you’ll have a permanent memory of it around your home because you will walk away with the glasses you drink from to use at home as you see fit (we think you’ll use them every day). Tonight, you’ll not only taste great wine, but you’ll find out the Schott Zwiesel advantage and how these glass accentuate the way you taste wine.
About Michael Pinkus …
Michael is an award-winning journalist: Promoting the Promoters Award Cuvee 2010 and Ontario Wine Awards Journalist of the Year 2012.
He is also a national and international wine judge - Ontario Wine Awards, All Canadian Wine Championships; Best of Riesling - Germany; Essencia do Vinho - "Top Wines of Portugal". He is currently the President of the Wine Writers Circle of Canada and the wine columnist for Ottawa Life and Grand magazine as well as regular contributor to Tidings, Grapevine and WineFox ... his reviews have also appeared in the LCBO Vintages magazine. In whatever he does, it is Michael’s desire to educate, inspire and encourage others to grow their own love and enthusiasm for wine – and to realize that it is their palate that ultimately makes the decision.
About Schott Zwiesel …
Schott Zwiesel stemware is the inventor of Tritan Technology – a crystal that uses a titanium alloy instead of lead thus hardening the surface making it resistant to scratching and dishwasher corrosion.
Schott Zwiesel stemware has a much lower breakage rate than traditional crystal glasses, with greater durability and clarity … “this is not your grandma’s crystal, it’s not your mama’s crystal either, this stuff has to be experienced to be believed.” (Michael Pinkus)
